For an organisation committed to the cause of the poor and always on the move with new innovative concepts and ideas, it is imperative that it should have a strong band of professionally oriented human resources. The Foundation has been regularly organising capacity building programmes during the last four years for its staff, and also for the members of the Community Organisations and activists of other NGOs to inculcate the sense of responsibility and conceptual clarity on job responsibility. The strategy has been to impart training in three phases; main training, capacity building and providing theoretical knowledge. The Gandhi Ashram at Kewatjali has been the prime institution to carry out this task. Trained participant got to know that how to build the team and they also orient other members. Participants got to know that how to teach the rural people about their entitlements under RTI. The participants were also made aware about the working system of Panchayati Raj. The state government has even been using its skill and expertise to train farmers. In fact Foundation also made farmers aware about increasing productivity and training, changed their attitude towards agriculture practices and also make them familiar with the latest agriculture technology. Significantly they have started implementing the ideas with the help of our Agronomist.

Over the years Badlao has emerged as the prime training institution for developing human resources. The Foundation has expertise in providing result based management training, sustainable agriculture, imparting knowledge about advance agriculture technology, tribal women property rights, capacity building training for SHGs and MBT, about functioning of the Panchayati Raj, training about leadership building, basic health care, gender sensitisation and training about managing NGO accounts. During the last three years Badlao Foundation has organised approximately 70 major Capacity Building Training for Civil Society (NGO), tribal women, Company Based Organisations and also its staff.
