Every effort has been made to establish close contacts with the tribal women through meetings, conferences, padyatras and personal contacts, in order to inculcate goodwill for and confidence in the foundation and to motivate them to send their girls to Kewatjali Centre for training and employment. This process gradually led to the organization of village level women’s organizations called Mahila Sabhas.
